China: 107 · Australia: 1. The ship-from country is the one the AliExpress API reports for each product's default shipping method.
How Australia compares
Australia had the 4th shortest median estimate of the 8 countries we measured; on free shipping it ranked 5th.
The same basket, Australian price
We asked AliExpress for the US-dollar price of the same 88 products from each country. With Spain as 100, the basket cost 83 in Australia, the cheapest of the 8 countries.
The API does not break down why (taxes included, local promotions or each store's pricing), so we do not attribute it to one cause. AliExpress shows the final price, GST included, before you pay.
When to order for Christmas
- For Christmas in Australia: order by 11 December 2026.
Based on the maximum estimate of 3 in 4 products we measured (14 days or less). It is an AliExpress estimate, not a guaranteed date.
What we measure
These are the delivery and cost estimates AliExpress shows before you buy, for the default shipping method; we do not track real parcels. The full method is in the Findazo Index (in Spanish, with an English summary).
Tax and customs in Australia
Imported goods worth A$1,000 or less have GST charged at checkout, not at the border, according to the ATO. Large marketplaces collect it for their sellers, so the price you pay on AliExpress should already include it.

Frequently asked questions
How long does AliExpress take to deliver to Australia?

Is AliExpress cheaper in Australia than in other countries?
In our November 2026 check, yes for the products we compared: the same 88 items came to 83 in Australia with Spain as 100, the lowest of the countries we measured. Individual products can still be cheaper elsewhere.
